John Elias Ailabouni

John was born on June 2, 1939, in Eilabun, Palestine, where he was the oldest of 9 children. His studies led him to become a respected pharmacist in Rama. He brought his young family to the U.S. in 1979, where he raised his children and worked as a community pharmacist.

John is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Rudeina, their children: Rana (Dan), Lily (Dan), Mona (David), Dona (Justin), and Elias (Sarah). He leaves behind a legacy of love and pride through his grandchildren: Serena (Sam), Alex (Jack), George, Seia, Charlie, David, Elaine, Evelyn, Leila, Miles, Miriam, Amira, Lucas, Selma, and Camellia. He is also survived by his siblings, Souheila, Elaine (Jan), Ikhlas, Renee, Izabelle, Nawal, Melly and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elias and Farha; siblings, Abdullah, Bishara, Souheil and Marie.

John’s family was his greatest joy, and he was always surrounded by their love. His warmth, generosity, and wisdom will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A visitation for John will be held Friday, February 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 8260 4th St N, Oakdale, MN 55128, followed by a mass of christian burial at 11:00 AM.
