Kelly Joseph Cadwallader Jr.

Kelly Joseph Cadwallader Jr., age 37, of Afton, Minnesota passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 following complications related to T-1 diabetes. Kelly was born January 9, 1985 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He graduated from Mahtomedi High School.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Joanne Ziegler, Clifford Cadwallader Sr., Richard Skoog, Jokundy Skoog and Shirley Skoog.

Kelly will be missed by his wife BriAnna, children: Parker, Hudson and Saylor; mother and step father Yvonne Huizinga and John Huizinga; father and step mother Kelly Cadwallader Sr. and Gale Cadwallader; grandparents Rich and Kathy Werner; siblings: Brian (Jayme) Cadwallader, Iain (Danielle) Huizinga, Lisa Ries, Brandon (Cassara) Cadwallader, Chase Cadwallader, Mackenzie Cadwallader and Carter Cadwallader; mother in law Dorothy (Bill) MacDonald; father in law John (Debbie) Bichner; sisters in law: Gina (Jason) Gorman, Heather (Chris) Johnson, Megan (Dan) Panetti and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.

Kelly was passionate about everything he loved, especially his beautiful family. He was known for his creativity and hard work; he was proud to be a perfectionist. He was rightfully proud of the contracting company he built and owned: Kelstone Concrete. Kelly was always full of dreams and plans. His optimism and enthusiasm were contagious. Most of all, Kelly will be remembered for his immense capacity to love. His life was far too short but he touched so many, so deeply.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 900 Stillwater Rd., Mahtomedi, MN, visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.
