My thoughts and prayers go out to the Schwarting family.  Lester touched many lives and will be deeply missed.

I light this candle in honor of my father.  He was the light of my life.  He showed me the kind of person I need to be.  I will miss you Dad.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Schwarting family...especally to my good friend Sam Bender, who I work with.I never met Lester, but through Sam, I feel like I did get to know him.

to my office to do repairs and projects we had for him to do.  All was done correctly, accurately and with a big smile and a great sense of pride for a job well done.  He was a great guy and I'm sure you will deeply miss him.  God Bless you on this both sad and joyous day when he will be with his family again in heaven.  He will be missed by many.

As cousins, Lester and I spent many fun family gatherings together. Though living in different cities has made that more of a challenge, I will always remember the great times we had growing up. You will be missed by so man.

Lester was a very kind, wonderful, helpful person with a witty sense of humor. His coworkers at Mn/DOT will miss him very much. He was a talented man, and we knew we could count on him. He'll be looking down on us and shaking his head from time-to-time. You would just know what he was thinking. I have to smile.

I have worked with Lester for all of the years he has been with Mn/DOT.  Lester helped us so many times and was such a wonderful man.  He had such a great smile.  You could always count on Lester to get what we needed.  Lester will truely be missing.  My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.

Lester, you will be missed.  You had a great sense of humor sans my "Pit Bull Inside" sign outside of my cubicle that you made. You made our lives easier with your sense of service and for that we thank you. Rest easy my friend your in God's hands now.

Words can not describe the loss of a loved one.  I only met Lester once, but I knew he was a wonderful person.  Nancy and Rodney always talked about him with love.  My heart goes out to the family and Lester will wait for his loved ones in heaven.

Words can not describe the feelings that we have when a love one travels on to join those who are all ready in God's arms. But we can with time, somewhat understand, heal and even accept, that it is not only a sad day, but a joyous day because Lester, my good dear friend,you are now so lucky to be in heaven and feel his true love, and for us, we will still grieve and continue  to travel on live's journey and pray that we too will meet again, and also experience the wonderful joy that you are now blessed with.   Good bye my friend.

Lester was a man who touched many through his example of Christian fellowship and service. Never one looking for accolades, he quietly put his faith into action and was always helping out. When he became ill, he bore it all with dignity and faith. I never saw his smile fade or his faith falter.

When I think of Lester and how he did so much for the church, I know that he heard the voice of the Shepherd and followed it as we read in John 10:27-28: 

"My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand."

My prayer is that Dar and Audrey and Lester's whole family will find comfort through this time in God's love and care.

Uncle Lester will be missed by many.  He was more then an Uncle to me, he was like a Dad. He would go out of his way to help anyone if they needed it.  

Christmas just won't be the same without him trying to give us the Queen of Spades in a game of Hearts.  Or him trying to tickle my kids. Regardless how he'd tease you or pick on you, a person never cared when he did it. 

Everyone leaves footprints in your memory...but the ones that leaves footprints in your heart...are the ones you truly remember....

I was so sorry to see Lester's notice in the paper.  He was such a kind man.
When Pastor Grant was not able to drive me to confirmation, Lester was always willing to drive me.  He was fun to ride with.  I am so sorry for your loss.  "The Lord is close to the Broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18

May god watch over him and show him the way.Rest in peace Lester,You may be lost but you will never forgotten.
To lesters family,He may not be here physically,but he will allways be with you in your heart.
