Preceded in death by parents, William & Lillie Jensen; Sister, Darlene; Brother; nephews; all of Blair, NE; and Son, Curtis. Survived by daughters, Bonnie Idso, Rebecca Thesenvitz (Mark); grandson, Brian Thesenvitz (fiancé Diana); nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
Born at home and grew up on a farm in Blair, Nebraska, at a time when farmers cleared out barns to hold neighborhood dances. Her mother played the accordion and her father called square dances. She attended a one-room school house in Orem, Nebraska, until high school. Her parents then rented her a room in town so she could attend and graduate from Blair High School. After marriage she moved to Omaha, and then transferred to Woodbury, MN. She had a successful at home ceramic studio and taught classes for many years. She loved going to farm auctions, flea markets, estate sales and had collections of many varieties. Her 15 minutes of fame was in 2000 when she had a large auction of vintage Barbie Dolls in North St Paul. She was interviewed by local TV, radio stations from all over the country and by a well-known talk show host. She loved nature, wildlife, bird watching. Lila was an avid EastEnders fan on TPT. She was proud to be of full-blooded Danish heritage.
