Mary Anna Meyer

Mary (Friese) Meyer, 75 years, passed peacefully on December 31st, 2025 at Our Lady of Peace in Saint Paul with her sons by her side. She was an amazing mother, wife, and person. Mary graduated from Saint Cloud State University with an education degree before working for Deluxe Checking for many years.

Mary was a devoted Mother to her two sons, was a gentle and caring grandmother, loved her family and siblings deeply, was always thinking of others, never seeking attention, was a strong, smart, hard working woman who sacrificed so much so others could have joy. She showed love through her actions. Above all, she enjoyed time with her family. Mary was preceded in death by father Luverne, mother Lorraine, brother Bruce, and sister Rita.

Survived by husband Cliff, sons Brian (Sasha) and John, grandsons Rhett and Wesley, brother Rod (Meg) Friese, sisters Deb (Craig) Beemer, Patti (Chris) Schmelzer, Laurie (Ron) Horn, Sue (Bill) Benton, many nieces and nephews and extended family.

A special thanks to Our Lady of Peace Hospice for their loving, kind, and supportive care.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church (4125 Woodbury Drive, Woodbury) on Thursday, January 8, 2026. Visitation 9:30-10:30 am; Mass at 10:30 am. Burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery to follow.

Memorials preferred to Our Lady of Peace.
