Previously of Rochester, passed away unexpectedly at home Friday, Nov. 28, 2014. Her radiant smile, gorgeous red hair, warm hugs, “I Love You’s”, and devotion to those she loved will be in our hearts forever. She is preceded in death by her grandparents; uncle and Godfather, Peter Haqq; and brother-in-law, Patrick Brodigan. Shelly is survived by her husband, Casey Brodigan, previously of Red Wing; daughter, Cassie (Tim Vokoun) Franz of Austin; son, Alex (Andrea McNutt) Franz of Woodbury; parents, Morrie and Barb Knudsen of Lake City; brothers, Keven and Scott (Vicki) Knudsen, both of Rochester; grandchildren, Izibel and Isaiah Vokoun; mother-in-law, Carolyn Brodigan; brother-in-law, Kevin Brodigan; and sister-in-law, Kathy (Al) Stewart, all of Red Wing; nephews, Travis and Riley Knudsen of Rochester; nieces, Kelsey and Paige Knudsen of Rochester; and special canine companion, Taz. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Visitation Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 3-7 PM with service at 7 PM at Wulff Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Dr., Woodbury. Entombment at Grandview Memorial Garden, Rochester. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
