Phyllis (Bujarski) Larson

A devoted believer, Phyllis went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a lifetime of serving Him.

Phyllis was born in Gilman, Minnesota, the eighth of nine children to Wanda (Novak) and Julius Bujarski. She was baptized Philomena Anna at Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Foley, MN. She later moved to Minneapolis, where she attended Holy Rosary Elementary School and graduated from Marshall High School.

In 1956, Phyllis married her beloved husband, Donald A. Larson, and together they raised three sons; Martin, Ronald, and Joe, in their South Minneapolis home. In 1988, Phyllis and Donald moved to Burnsville. Following Donald’s passing in 2003, Phyllis moved to The Timbers senior living in Apple Valley, where she embraced new friendships, stayed active with volunteering, line dancing, and outings with her friends. In 2022, she relocated to St. Therese in Woodbury, where she enjoyed being located closer to her family, doing puzzles, attending grandchildren’s sporting events and, connecting with others.

Throughout her life, Phyllis enthusiastically volunteered in her community, especially loved spending time at schools where the children read to her and supporting her local churches. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. Known for her wit, joyful spirit and deep faith, she left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was a respectful supporter of people of all faiths and backgrounds, reflecting her open heart.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald; her son, Ronald; her parents, Wanda and Julius; and all eight of her siblings. She is survived by her sons, Martin Larson and Joe (Carla) Larson; daughter-in-law, Janette Larson; grandsons, Josh (Lexi), Landon, and Brody; and great-grandchildren, Levi and Genevieve.

A visitation will be held at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home (2195 Woodlane Drive, Woodbury, MN 55129) on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
