I was very sad to learn of Ray's passing. I met Ray over 30 yrs ago thru his friend Glen Often.  Ray was friendly, always patient and kind and willing to listen.  Thanks Ray for being a friend to me. I will miss you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.  It was a privelege getting to know him while I cared for him at United.  He wanted nothing more then to be surrounded by his family during this difficult time.  

During our many late night conversations we talked about his famous pickle recipe.  I hope he left it behind.  He also had asked me to find him a couple of 20 year olds.  I wasn't able to do that while he was at the hospital.  I hope he found a couple on his own :)

He was a very sweet man, that I will never be able to forget.  God bless his soul.

It was a privelege to have known and worked with Ray at 3M--always a smile, a good word, and a joke or two from a guy who was always willing and able to help.  Ray--you and your family have been and will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.  Susan and Kent Didriksen

I am sorry to hear of Ray's death, he was a great person and I got to know him well in my 4 yrs in MN in the late '70's.  Always a smile and no unkind words toward others, a nice way for his family to know how he is thought of, my condolence.

Our children called him "Uncle Ray" because he was so caring and always looking out for them that we considered him family.  He was the eyes and ears of our neighborhood - nothing got by him!  Ray was such an amazing person we wish we could have known him longer.  What an inspiration to all.

What a great guy. Ray was always very kind, considerate, and ready to lend a helping hand to anyone. He was an awesome neighbor. We miss him standing out in his yard talking to everyone and their dog. He truly is one of those people that everyone likes.

I'm so sorry to hear about Ray's passing.  He was an all around great guy.

Ray and my father, Myron Muth, met at 3M over 40 years ago. They became lifelong friends. I have fond memories of Ray's visits to our home. He always took the time to acknowledge and visit with us kids.  

Througout the years, I have run into Ray many times out and about. He always remembered me and my husband and he took the time to hear what we were up to.

Although he was not feeling well, he attended my mother's wake in February. It was a snowy, cold evening and I am sure it took alot of effort to get there. That visit meant so much to us.

I will not be able to attend his services on Saturday but you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Ray's presence will be missed but the fond memories will last forever.
