Robert Charles Jansen

Robert Charles Jansen, age 78 passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol and children David Jansen, George Jansen and Barbara Jansen and sisters June Sinnett and Mary Lou Beckmann. Robert is survived by his son Chad Jansen, grandson Peyton Robert Jansen and brother in law Thomas Sinnett.

Robert "Bob" loved spending time enjoying the beauty of the Mississippi river houseboating and fishing with his son Chad, his grandson Peyton & his mother Jennifer and many friends. Bob was born in St. Paul and spent most of his life living in St. Paul's East Side. He was a great chef who worked at several restaurants and hotels, including the St. Paul Hotel, The Lexington, Holiday Inn East and Guldens Restaurant. He also managed several apartment complexes. The communities got to know him and they would exchange much love and respect for each other. Bob was a great inspiration to those who loved him. Many became interested in his strong christian faith and joined bible studies, some also attended services with Bob. Robert passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family and has returned to be in the presence of the Lord. He wished all to know that he wants all who loved him to celebrate his life and will be waiting with love to see all his Brothers and Sisters in Christ again.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 11:30 AM at Redeemer Baptist Church, Oakdale, visitation will begin at 10:30 AM.
