Thomas Michael Scanlan

He is survived by his children Pat Quayle, Mark, Joe (Rita), Barb Carpenter ( Larry) and Tom (Julie) his 9 grandchildren (Chrissy, Steve, Nicholas, Amy, Justin, Lauren, Jack, Cassidy, and Mitchell and 12 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents George and Violet Scanlan, his wife Donna, and his siblings George, Bill and Jerry.

Tom graduated from Harding High School in 1955. He started in the Terrazzo trade after graduating high school. In 1980, he started an Industrial flooring business (Indue) and enjoyed his time working with his family over the years. Tom loved to fly and got his private pilots license in the early 1980’s.

Tom was a devote catholic with a strong faith. Tom enjoyed hosting a weekly bible study group.

He had a great sense of humor. He was clever, inventive and original.

A visitation for Thomas will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Guardian Angels Catholic Church - Historic Chapel, 8260 4th Street North, Oakdale, Minnesota 55128. Following the visitation will be a mass of christian burial at 11:00 AM at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 8260 4th Street North, Oakdale, Minnesota 55128. Burial to follow at Guardian Angels Cemetery.
