Passed away unexpectedly and suddenly on 2/18/17. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Elaine (nee Moore); children, Bill (Colleen), Jack (Teresa), Doug (Lori), Deb (Cary) Cardell, Ron (Terri); daughter-in-law, Sue; grandchildren, Gina, Joe (Molly), Ryan, Ethan, Noah, Laura and Katie Cardell and Ty; great-granddaughter, Posey Bloch. Wayne was a Korean War Veteran and a former 35+ year Hamm's Brewery employee. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30AM Wed. 2/22/17 at St. Pascal Baylon Catholic Church, White Bear Ave. at 3rd St., St. Paul. Visitation 1 hour prior to mass. Inurnment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Cretin HS Athletic Department or the American Lung Association.
