Javier Villegas Ornelas

Javier was the fourth child of Lorenzo Ornelas and Zenida Villegas, born on June 6, 1961 in Guanajuato, Mexico.

At the age of 15 Javier came to Woodlake, Ca looking for a better life. He started as a forklift driver and quickly became a truck driver. On March 6, 1982, Javier married the former Anna Sanchez in Lemoncove, California. They both raised their children, Adrian, Javier Jr. and Bernadette in Woodlake, California. Javier was a man of many talents, if anyone needed something fixed they would come to him. On weekends and some weekdays you could find him at the casino with his primo Chilo. Those who knew him will remember him for his lively personality and loud voice.

Javier is survived by his wife Anna of 39 years, his children Adrian, Javier Jr. and Bernadette Ornelas of Woodlake. His 6 grandchildren, Christopher, Gannon, Layla, Erica, Ayva and Kylie as well as numerous nieces and nephews. His mom Zenida Villegas and father Lorenzo Ornelas of Mexico. His brothers Jose and Lorenzo Ornelas of Woodlake , his sisters Rosa, Hortencia of Mexico and Maria Dolores Ornelas of Canada.

Visitation for Javier will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Miller Memorial Chapel, 134 Cypress, Woodlake, CA. Rosary will begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at St. Francis Cabrini Church, 199 Pepper Street, Woodlake, CA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 9:00 AM at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, 199 Pepper Street, Woodlake, CA with interment following immediately at Woodlake Public Cemeterty, 165 N. Cypress Street, Woodlake, CA 93286.
