

Agnes Maniace, 86, of Astoria, NY, passed away on October 26, 2012. She was born in Upper Manhattan on May 1, 1926. She received a GED in the late 1970s. She was married to Vincent Maniace on August 15, 1948. She worked as a bookkeeper before marriage and again in the 1980s. She was a member of the Rosary Society at Most Precious Blood Church, Taminent Democratic Club in Astoria, and a Den Mother for many years at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Agnes had a passion for reading, sewing, cooking, the Yankees, and, of course, her family. She is survived by her husband Vincent, her four sons, Len, Vin, Bill, and Paul, her five grandchildren, Daniel, Nicholas, Stephen, Matthew, and Rachel. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Visitation took place on Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 3-5:00 PM and 7-9:00 PM. Visitation will take place on Thursday,
November 1, 2012 from 2-5 PM and 7-9 PM and the funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Most Precious Blood Church 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery in Flushing.
