

She was born in Kenmare, County Kerry, Ireland on December 18, 1928, one of seven children, and came to the United States by ship in the 1950's where she met her husband John while at a ballroom dance in the Bronx. She raised four children in Woodside, Queens. Agnes was a very generous person, volunteering her time with Winwood Neighborhood Association/Woodside on the Move and collecting for charity. She later worked as secretary. In the past she was very active in St. Mary's Church as a Eucharistic Minister.
She is survived by her children, Kevin, Desmond and Brendan and son-in-law Michael, daughters-in-law Penelope, Vanessa and Bonnie. Her five grandchildren: Miles, Savannah, Amanda and twins Declan and Brandon and two great grandchildren: Luna and newborn Luca.
She is predeceased by her parents Jeremiah and Bridget O'Shea, sisters Rita O'Dowd (nee O'Shea) and Julie Ann Dunn (nee O'Shea) and brothers John, Timothy, Michael and Patrick (Brother Timothy) O'Shea and daughter Deirdre Noonan (nee Spillane) and numerous nephews and nieces.
