Anthony F. Platania, of Astoria, passed away on July 2, 2014. He was born on September 29, 1932 to his parents, Frank and Maria. His will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will take place at Thomas M. Quinn & Sons, Astoria, NY on Sunday, July 6, 2014 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Joseph's Church on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 10:00am. Burial will take place at Calverton National Cemetery.
