Caryn Gerega

Family and friends were Caryn’s delight. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband Daniel P. Conaty; the apple of her eye, her only son Bryce Gerega of Queens, NY; 3 stepdaughters, Meghan, Kacey and Killeen Conaty as well as her granddaughter, Kate. She will also be deeply missed by her many, lifelong friends.

Born in New York City, in 1956 to the late Harold and Leona Gerega, Caryn was an Art Director at GSW for years before launching her own agency, Gerega Creative. Also, a Fine Arts teacher and the President of the Jackson Heights Art Club in Flushing, NY, Caryn was a gifted and dedicated artist. From graphic design to watercolor and oils, interior and furniture design to calligraphy and jewelry; she shared her talents in so many ways.

Family and friends are welcome to celebrate her life on Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 2-4 pm at Thomas M. Quinn & Sons Memorial, at 35-20 Broadway at 36th street in Astoria, Queens. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Jackson Heights Art Club at 3350 82nd St, Flushing, NY 11372.
