It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher George Vrettos on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 following an unexpected and sudden illness. He was a beloved son, brother, friend and godfather who will be dearly missed. While he appeared tough on the exterior, he had the biggest heart and would do anything for the people he cared for. He was a true force of nature, and his absence will leave a void in the hearts of all who love him.
Chris took such great pride in life - in the way he looked (if you did not know, he was one handsome devil), in his career as a New York State court officer, as a diehard 49ers fan, and in his role as Gabby’s godfather. Chris’s life was far too short in time, but incredibly rich in experience. If anyone knew how to live, it was Chris and he lived his life to the fullest. Life is suddenly quiet without him here.
