Ellen Fawl, know to her family and friends as Eileen, entered into eternal rest on November 16, 2025. Eileen was born in Killadysert, County Clare, Ireland to James and Bridget Fawl on March 14, 1932.
Eileen moved to Woodside in 1960 and made it her home.
Eileen was known for her sense of style and her glamorous wigs, with one of her nephews calling her "Aunt Wiggy".
Eileen loved going to dances in the Irish Clubs in her younger years and one of her favourite singers was Daniel O'Donnell from Donegal in Ireland.
Eileen was a kind hearted soul who always made time for those in her community. She was a long time Parishioner of St. Sebastian RC Church, Woodside, NY and a member of the Leisure Club, she was always there to lend a hand to those in need. Eileen was deeply religious and served the church for many years.
Eileen will be deeply missed by the family and friends she leaves behind.
