Ethel E. Bond 99, of Astoria, New York entered into eternal rest on October 15, 2012. She was born in New York, New York on April 24, 1913 to Ferdinand Hegel and Ida Screder. Ethel worked many years doing Secretarial work with a Publishing Company. She will be missed by her family and friends. Ethel is survived by her two children James and Patricia. Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 17, 2012 from 2-5:00pm & 7-9:00pm. A funeral Mass will take place on Thursday October 18, 2012 at 10:30am at Most Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Long Island National Cemetery located in Pinelawn, New York.
