Soon it will be the anniversary of Jose's passing.  Although not with us in person, his memory is alive in us.  Not a day goes by that he is not remembered by my mother, Virginia Martinez and I. My mother prays for his peaceful rest. He is ever alive in our hearts and in our thoughts. 

Dear Jose and family :  I am sorry that I  write too late but I am not familiar with  technology .
Jose was a great man  I meet him 35 years ago . I was 19 years old and I went to Caracas to see a master who  gave you the way to have happiness  name Majaraji . At the house of Susana Dozil I met him so quiet and smiled all the time and l listened to him about his experience with Knowledge  which is very important to me his stories were fantastic !!  Teach me the importance of eat healthy and sometimes he got mad if you don’t  listen and apply his teachings  in your diet . I will missed you Josè !! 
I am sure you are melted with pure love and light !! 

I called Jose yesterday to wish him happy Father's Day because he is one of those man I truly respected and wished him all the best from my heart. Patricia answered the phone and told me shocking news. It's very very sad. Jose was always there for my mom and my daughter when We needed help with health issues. I am very deeply sad and will miss Jose terribly. May he rest in peace. We will always remember this absolutely amazing man.

Thank you for notifying me of Jose's transitioning.  After my last e-mail to him on the 9th April I wondered why he had not responded.  I am absolutely numb, empty and very, very sad.  He was a patient person who genuinely cared; an excellent guide and teacher who spent himself dearly concerning matters of health.        

He successfully helped my husband and I with our health issues and because of this I highly recommended him to Bermudians and persons in the U.S.A. who had health-related issues.  Who will continue his legacy?

I am re-reading all of these letters of love and appreciation...again.  all that has been said is so true...i met Jose in 1970 in N.Y.C....he was an artist with his style of Karate and was Willie, his brother & Joe Lopez, our teacher. He was also very funny...through-out many yrs, Jose would come and go and share wonderful stories of his travels...he had a wonderful sense of humor and truly loved life and its adventures...most of what i read now is about him after we had our time...so very nice to hear how he developed into a healer and on and on...we all treasured our time with him...a very special man. I came to Jose in 2010, with a life-long illness that doctors could not explain. Jose gave me his time, skill and wisdom, and I am healthier now than I have ever been. He also helped with total generosity so many other people that I recommended him to, too many to mention. He had a love and passion for healing and helping. He is greatly missed as a healer and as a friend.

My sister and I deeply mourn the passing of our grandfather.  We will miss him terribly.  I will miss the grandpa I always called when I was sick to cure me.  I will never forget his words of motivation and encouragement.  Patricia and grandpa enriched oir lives not only with gifts but with so much loved.  We will love him, miss him and remember him for as long as we live.  May our grandfather Jose find rest and Peace.

So sorry to hear of this dear soul's moving on. José was truly kind and I carry the fond memory of the remarkable compassion he demonstrated towards me. I hope that comfort, peace, and trust will accompany the sadness that Patricia, his children, and his many dear ones are feeling.

Patricia mi familia y yo nos sentimos muy tristes por la perdida de Jose.  Sabemos que tu dolor es grande y estamos contigo para acompanarte y  compartirlo.  Cuan mucho lo estranaremos. I am so heartbroken over the loss of Jose.  I realize now how much I love him.  He knew me inside and out. I am so sad and sorry for the loss of Jose. It is a big chock and difficult to understand that he has passed. I learned that he had such a big heart and that he helped everyone. I'm so grateful to him and have so, so much to thank him for. Thanks to him I'm still alive. My deepest and warmest condolences to you Patricia and his family.

Dear Patricia and José's family, 

I feel overwhelmed by sadness at the thought that José is no longer with us physically. He was my teacher, my mentor and one of the biggest influences  in my life. I am struggling to come to terms with his death because  he was supposed to live forever! I  called him Mr Gafter gravity. Some of you will know what that means. This is an immense and indescribable  loss; he is  a giant of a man in spirit. Everything about him was extraordinary- his generosity, his candour, his patience, his amazing life stories. 

It will take me time to come to find the words to share with you just how much he means to me and the stories that he shared about all of you. José will always be loved and never forgotten. His work and legacy will live on through us, of that I am sure. The last words he and I exchanged on Monday night were- May the force be with you.
