She was born in Crescent Street Long Island City, New York on September 14, 1919.
Josephine was married to Alfonso Bersani who passed away in 1991. Josephine worked in JJ Newberry Department Store until her retirement.
She had a passion for cooking and she made the BEST tossed green salad.
Josephine is survived by her two children Donna and Perry and several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday March 11, 2016 from 2:00pm-8:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday March 12, 2016 9:30am at Most Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Saint Raymond’s Cemetery located in the Bronx, New York.
