Juan Jose Reyes, 87, born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and a resident of New York, New York, passed away on April 1, 2026. He was a dedicated Merchant Marine and also worked in New York City as a hospital and NYCHA worker.
Juan Jose was a devoted family man who always made caring for his loved ones his priority. He was lovable, outgoing, and full of life. He enjoyed long walks, being outdoors, driving his van with family, and sharing his love of music and dance of all kinds.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Rosa Reyes, and his children, Monica, Ulises, Jennie, Fabian, Martha, Manuel, Lilia, and Ginger, along with all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
