June Catherine Hagstrand of Astoria, New York entered into eternal rest on January 8, 2015. June was born on June 14, 1933 in Astoria, New York to George Vogel and Julia Cunningham. June worked for many years as a para professional for the NYC Board of Education. June is predeceased by her husband Warren and survived by her children Warren Hagstrand, Patricia Mazzant, June Martin, Jean Hagstrand and David Hagstrand, her nine grandchildren and her six great grandchildren Visitation will be held on Monday January 12, 2015 from 2-5:00pm and 7-9:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday January 13, 2015 at 9:15am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery located in Calverton, New York.
