Leonora was born on February 8, 1948 in Havana, Cuba to Mcente Ricardo Lancha Conesa and Georgina Isabel Bosca Gomez. ln 1993 she left Cuba for a better life in the United States, where she was reunited with her brother and sister. Following a brief stay
with her sister's family in New York City, Leonora returned to live in Miami where she worked at Miami International Airport and awaited the arrival of her son, daughter, and grandchildren from Cuba.
She was preceded in death by her parents Vicente and Georgina, and by her brother Arnaldo. She is survived by her daughter Georgina, her son Vicente, and her grandchildren Gisela and Carlos, as well as her sister Gisela, brother-in-law Jose Manuel, nieces Ledia Magaly and Gisela Beatriz, and nephews Felix and Jose Ignacio.
