It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lucy Ann McGowan, who died on January 5, 2026 at the age of 93.
Lucy was a loving mother to her daughter Regina Constantin and son Stephan McGowan. She touched the lives of many through her kindness. Lucy's legacy lives on in her children, friends and family.
In memory of Lucy McGowan, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Shriners Hospital, a cause that was meaningful to Lucy, in honor of her memory.
A funeral service will be held on January 13th from 8:30-10:15 at Kennedy-Roth Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lucy's life.
A visitation will be held at Kennedy-Roth Funeral Home, located at 41-45 58th Street, Woodside, NY 11377, on January 13, 2026, from 8:30 am to 10:15 pm.
This will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, 52-02 Roosevelt Ave, Woodside, NY 11377, (same day) from 10:45 am to 11:45 am.
After mass, a committal service will be held at St. John Cemetery, 80-01 Metropolitan Ave, New York, NY 11379, (same day) from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
Again, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Shriners Hospital.
