Mary Vidovich Kuvacic, 91, peacefully passed away July 1, 2014. Born and raised in Astoria, NY. Mary said she was so blessed to have lived a wonderful life; a proud graduate of Hunter HS and Hunter College ’44, member of Phi Beta Kappa Society, decorated by the French Government for her 40 year career with the French Embassy just touch on her accomplishments. Mary shared 28 wonderful years with her late husband Ljubomir. Survived by her daughter Adriane, son-in-law Nick, beloved granddaughter Paressa Poulikidis, sister Lorraine Loughlin and a loving extended family throughout the US, Canada, Greece and Croatia. Mary is a shining example of our “Greatest Generation”. Her family will greet friends on Monday, July 7 from 2:00 – 5:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Quinn Funeral Home, 35-20 Broadway, Astoria, NY 11106. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 8 at 10:30 Most Precious Blood RC Church, 32-52 37th Street, Astoria, NY 11106.
