You were the heart of that block, and always greeted me with a smile and cared about my family. I always admired your strength and quick wit. You will never be forgotten.           I'm so sorry for your loss Megan :(  You're mom was the best.

Hey Ma, Its Angie. You were a very amazing woman. You had a heart of gold. Always put others first and made every special day even more special with your effort to go that extra mile for the ones you loved. I remember when i went through the Spongebob phase when i was 18. You never judged me, instead you baked me a spongebob birthday cake got my spongebob birthday cards a million spongebob balloons and even a spongebob figurine that said "bring it around town!" every time i shook it. As silly as it sounds to others, it means something to me. Thank you for all that you have done for me. for the roof you put over my head for those few years. i miss you. And as i always promised you, i will ALWAYS be there for Megan. Kitty loves you :) and please watch over us. <3

Hi Ma it's Nene, I can't believe you're gone...there aren't enoff thank yous in the world to justify my gratefulness for you or my love. Everyday you picked us up from school, how  you helped me with every school project I ever had,the meals you cooked and how for every holiday you knew I would hold off till I got to you're house for turkey...I could go on and on but I will sum it up by saying that you were and will always be a second mom to me... I will miss you everyday especially on St. Patty's day I love you take good care of mommy make sure she's being good to my daddy.... Until we meet again love always and forever Nene

Michael misses you terribly and I will always be grateful for the care you gave him.  And also that knowing I had no family you just unconditionally made me a part of yours.  I still look for you in the window when I walk by and probably will for a long time.

R.I.P Maryann i will never forget all the times we sat in ur kitchen ,smoking ciggs and talking  about life u will be missed </3... i was there threw alot with u and Megan and im soooo sorry i couldnt be there in ur last moments with her ...but u were and always will be in my heart and thoughts ...

Maryann thank you so much for always brightening my day when I came home. I could always look forward to a chat on the stoop no matter how cold or hot the day was! You were an important part of my life and you will be deeply missed. 

I will never forget your call to check on me after earthquake, it meant a lot to me that you cared. Even though we moved a few months ago, Andrew and I often talk how you used to make us laugh and how great you made our time in Astoria. You and your family are in our thoughts.

Maryann I just found out today I miss you so much from the block I actually miss you more than living on the block....I know how much you loved your daughter and what a great person you are........I am at a loss for words just found out 11/13/11 a little too late I guess....I miss our conversations my window friend you will always have a place in my heart....Wendy Lee Rivera
