Michael J. Bunce 64, of Woodside, New York entered into eternal rest on April 22, 2014. He was born in New York on November 27, 1949 to Thomas Bunce and Margaret Scanlon. Michael graduated from Queens College, he then began working with the US Postal Service for many years. Michael had a passion for playing chess, he was an avid Yankee fan , he loved taking trips to Las Vegas and Atlantic City and had a great love for the Beatles. Michael is survived by his siblings Patricia Berni, Thomas Bunce and Eileen Bunce, his nieces and nephews Mariellen, John, Kieran and Keith. Viewing will be held on Friday April 25, 2014 from 2-5:00pm and 7-9:00pm. A funeral mass will take place on Saturday April 26, 2014 9:30am at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Saint Michael's Cemetery.
