Michael Pavlides, 61, of Astoria, New York passed away on April 26, 2012. He was born in Manhattan, New York on November 10, 1950. Michael graduated from Automotive High School. He was married to Mary on June 24, 1973. Michael worked in a Dry Cleaners. He was a member of the Masons and AHEPA. Michael had a passion for coin collecting, cars, the NY Yankees and oldies music. He was survived by his daughters Margaret Stella and Paula Deist, his grandchildren Vincent Stella and Alexander Deist, and his brother Tommy Pavlides. Visitation will take place on Friday April 27, 2012 from 2-5 &7-9p.m. Mass to follow on Saturday April 28, 2012 10:30a.m. at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. Interment to follow at Saint Michael's Cemetery located in East Elmhurst, New York.
