Nelson Aponte 54, of Long Island, New York, entered into eternal rest on Thursday December 31, 2015.
Nelson was born in Brooklyn, New York to his parents Saturnino Aponte and Benedicta Rodriguez.
Nelson is survived by his sisters, Evelyn Moreira and Miriam Aponte-Morales and his nieces, Jessica, Stephanie and Cristina. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.

Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, January 7th, 2016, 7:00pm at Saint Rita’s Roman Catholic Church.
