Robert Wood was born on October 28, 1935 in Spartanburg South Carolina to the Late John Arthur Wood and Annie Mae Wood. Robert Wood departed this life on August 13, 2014. At an early age he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior.

Robert also served in the United States Military. He worked for the New York City Transit Authority until he retired. He was married with two children. Robert had eight siblings, five pre-deceased him in death.

Robert leaves to cherish his memories, one brother Larry, two sisters Elizabeth, and Arlene, one sister -in -law Kathleen, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, relatives and caring friends.
