Rose Goldsmith

Astoria, New York most of her life. Rose married the late Wallace Goldsmith in 1969. As a young woman Rose worked as

a secretary. She loved to travel and vacationed throughout Europe with her sisters Josephine and Mary. Rose’s retirement

was spent enjoying time with her family, especially her two sisters, with whom she was very close. Rose was a kind

hearted, generous woman who will be dearly missed. She is survived by her sisters, Josephine and Mary and a brother,

Philip, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was most proud to have recently become a Great Great Aunt. Rose life

spanned six generations of her family, from Italian immigrant grandparents and father to her youngest nephew Ryan born

only 10 months ago. After two years of battling illness Rose can now be at peace. We love you Aunt Rogie!
