Sophie Kastalanyc entered into eternal rest on February 9, 2013 at the age of 93 at her home in Astoria. She was active member of Holy Cross Ukrainian Church. She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 2:00 - 5:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Cross Ukrainian Church. The interment will follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx.
