William Morris Hawkins

William Hawkins, a loving and cherished soul, peacefully passed away at home on July 20th, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and treasured memories. Though he didn't get to leave us later in life, he departed from this world in peace. He was 58.

William was the youngest of four children, he is survived by his mother, Alice Hawkins, and his dear siblings. In addition to his mother, William is survived by his children Jessica, William, Angelina, and Christopher Hawkins, whom he shared with his wife Janice Hawkins.

William's journey began in New York, but it was in Arizona, by his mother's side, where he resided in the end. He was later brought back home to New York.

As a father, William was a beacon of love, guidance, and unwavering support to his children. Embracing his role with joy and meaning, he showered them with love and laughter, leaving lasting imprints on their hearts. A true champion of joy, he knew the key to life was to retire early, only do things you enjoy and share a little kindness before leaving.

Beyond his immediate family, William forged unbreakable bonds with his siblings, creating a tightly-knit family that supported and loved one another through both celebrations and trials.

Throughout his life, William touched the hearts of many with his kindness, generosity, and infectious smile. His compassionate nature knew no bounds, and he was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need. From friends to coworkers and the community, William's impact was profound and enduring.

As we gather to bid farewell to William. Though he didn't get to leave us later in life, his departure from this world was in serene tranquility. Though we mourn his departure, we find solace in the precious memories we shared, the love he bestowed upon us, and the valuable life lessons he taught us.
