My memories of Annette go way back to 12 years old.  She has always been my mother's best friend but she has also always made me feel safe.  I always knew if anything every happened to my mother she would be there for me.  I want all of you to know in return if there is anything I can do for you I will.  I only knew you from how she spoke about you but I feel close to each and every one of you.  She was my second mom and please never hesistate to reach out to me.  I know you even though we may have never spent time together.  Love to Annette and all of her family.  Nycia

To George and family, I wish to extend my heartfelt sympathy to you as you journey through this sorrowful moment in your lives.  I can say that I was tremendously blessed to have known and worked with Annette during her tenure at the RR.  I would be hard pressed to find anyone who had a more endearing spirit and gentle heart.  May the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ comfort you as you remember this most precious angel thta the Lord has called home.  God bless you all!!!

Though I didn't know Annette well, we both worked at Norfolk Southern and would run into each often.  She had a good spirit and friendly attitude.  My condolences to her family and friends in their great loss.

I love Annette - she is my dear long time friend (38 years) and adopted sister.  She called me every morning and then we would talk throughout the day.  We loved each others children, We shared happiness and worries.  I was with her when she lost her brother and she was with me when I lost mine.  I share soo many memories with Annette.  This is such a loss for me.  I also grieve for her children and George.   She loved them soo much.  They were here life and joy.

Jason and Danielle, I am so sorry to hear about your mother. I had the pleasure of speaking to her on a few occasions and she was so open and friendly. She made me feel as though we were old friends. I know you will miss her. Please know that you are in my prayers.

Annette is my second cousin. I remember spending the night at their house when I was little. Annette was always laughing and smiling. Her smile will definitely be missed.

To Annette's family:  I am so sorry to learn about Annette.  I didn't realize that she was having health problems.   It wasn't so long ago it seems, that my family, Annette and her's (not all - Tamara wasn't with us) and some more of our "railroad" friends went to Washington, DC.  I remember her son, Billy, was a "beer can" collector, at the time.  All of us had such a great time and we talked about that trip for years.  Annette was always fun to be around and her smile was so beautiful and so was she.  I, like all of her friends, will miss her dearly.  --  Rod Kegley

Everyone who knew Annette loved her bubbly personality and her giving spirit.  I remember how she helped me out when I first came to work in Customer Accounting and I was always grateful for her friendship.  You and your family are in my continued thoughts and prayers.  I won't be able to attend the services as I will be out of town.  If there is anything I can do, please let me know.  Just remember that Annette is free of pain now and in God's hands. I am so sorry to hear about your mother, Tamara.  I know how difficult it is to lose your mother and there will be some rough times, but just remember that she is healed and no longer in pain and in a much better place.
