Mrs. Baerbel Metz, 72, of Woodstock, GA passed away April 3, 2015. She was born on September 28, 1942 in Geislingen, Germany to the now late Robert and Ottilie Schmidt. She enjoyed painting, sewing and needle point crafts. Baerbel was not only a beloved mother and wife, but a best friend and companion. She will be immensely missed. She leaves behind her loving husband of 42 years, Roland Metz, daughter and son-in-law, Vivian and Jason Kortman and sisters, Dorothee Schmidt and Sonja Allgoewer. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 3-5pm at Woodstock Funeral Home.
