Bernard "Bob" Albert Rigaud Jr.

Born on Friday, October 22, 1937, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Bernard A. Rigaud Sr., and Marie Theresa Hopkins Rigaud Beck. He attended Corpus Christi Grade school, and St. Augustine High School. He joined the United States Navy on 18th of December 1956 until 1958. Bernard returned to New Orleans and worked for the United States Postal Service and retired after 40 years.

Bernard is preceded in death by his parents, Bernard A. Rigaud Sr., and Marie T. Hopkins Rigaud Beck, and by his stepson, Kurt Hamilton.

He is loving survived by his wife, Mrs. Barbara Richardson Hamilton Rigaud; son, Bernard A. Rigaud III; daughter, Madeline Rigaud Shalangi; stepdaughter, Tonya Hamilton Lenoir; stepson, Charles Darren; brothers, Matthew P. (Cheryl) Beck Jr., and Immanuel Beck; sisters, Iris Morse, Ingrid (Kevin) Watkins, and Ione Bertrand; six grandchildren, Serena, Rashi, India, Christina, Charles IV, and Sherelle, as well as a host of great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, Georgia. A service for Bernard will follow at 4:00PM at Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, Georgia.
