Betty Sanders Westbrooks, age 64, of Woodstock passed away August 9, 2014 at North Fulton Hospital following an extended illness. Betty graduated from North Cobb High School class of ’68. She was a former employee of Bell South where she served as editor for the yellow pages. Betty was a loving wife, mother and granny and will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband, Leonard, daughters, Laura Elkins (Stephen), and Amanda Anderson (David), mother, Magalene Sanders, brothers, Jimmy and Dennis Sanders, grandchildren Grayson, Lilly, Bella and Emileigh. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, August 14th at 2 pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church 4096 E. Cherokee Dr. Canton, GA 30115, Pastor Doug Mulkey officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 13th from 5 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
