Betty J. Wiles

Mrs. Wiles was a fun person to be around. People would describe her as funny, uplifting and someone who enjoyed life. She was the first person to arrive at a social outing and loved to laugh. She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting. She and her late husband, Charles, would watch football together as Mrs. Wiles would cheer "Go Guy!," any time her favorite teams the Falcons or Packers would play.

Mrs. Wiles is preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Susan Sherrill; husband of 63 years, Charles Wiles; and granddaughter, Peyton Wiles.

Survivors include her three sons, Ron Wiles of Woodstock, Mike Wiles and his wife, Leigh, of Powder Springs and Gordon Wiles of Woodstock; brother, Gary Sherrill and his wife, Bernice, of Michigan City, Indiana; sisters, Doris Looney of Indiana, Joanne Squirres and her husband, Al, of North Carolina, June Antrim and her husband, Jim, of Fayetteville, Carol Weich and her husband, Fred, of Indiana and Peggy Sherrill of Indiana; grandchildren, Greg, Lauren, Tara, Cheray, Aubrey and Devon; and great grandchildren, Matthew, Lilly, Daisy, Haden, Ann, Lea, Andy and Kayden.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 12:30 pm at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. Mrs. Wiles will be laid to rest next to her husband following the services.
