Brett Harvey Nicholls

Mr. Brett Harvey Nicholls, 56, of Canton, GA passed away August 19, 2016. Brett was born on August 29, 1959 at the Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. After graduating from Rutherford High School, Brett moved to Atlanta and attended the DeVry Institute. Brett has enjoyed a career spanning 25 years as a System’s Engineer for SAP. He enjoyed racing dirt bikes, riding jet skis, and spending weekends at the lake with his family. He was also an avid Nascar fan. Brett was a very compassionate and loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was always kind and generous to the friends of his kids and would often become a second father figure to them. He is going to be immensely missed by many. He was preceded in death by his father, William Nicholls. Brett leaves behind his wife of 28 wonderful years, Wendy Nicholls, son, Austin Nicholls, daughters, Melanie, Sarah and Hailey Nicholls, mother, Daphne Nicholls, brother, Neil Nicholls and a large and loving extended family. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 3-4pm and the service will be at 4:00pm in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home.
