

Daniel A. Guntin, 94, of Woodstock, GA passed away June 24, 2021. He was born August 24, 1926 in Astoria, NY to the late Jesus Joseph and Filomena Guntin. Shortly after graduating high school, Dan joined the U.S. Navy where he honorably served during World War II.
Following discharge, Dan attended New York University earning a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. Dan was employed by several large corporations primarily in the construction chemical product area. In 1973, Dan became the entrepreneur founder of the Associated Construction Distributors International.
Dan loved doing the New York Times Crossword puzzles daily, spending time with his family and sharing his knowledge of the business world.
Dan leaves behind his beloved wife, Joan; a son Kenneth Guntin; step children Valerie Williams, Jack Mangus, Karen Campuzano, and Kelly Williams; 5 grandchildren Jason, Branden, Mally, Macey and Adam; and 2 great grandchildren Emery and Colby. He was preceded in death by his sister Carmen Reckenwald.
Graveside Service will be held on July 21, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA. The family will also be receiving friends at a reception from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main St., Woodstock, GA 30188.
