

Mr. David Craik, 71, of Woodstock, GA passed away December 11, 2015. David was born on October 16, 1944 in Lawrence, KS to the late David and Eva Craik. He grew up in Abeline TX and graduated early and with honors from Abeline High school. David was also a proud Eagle Scout. He attended Hardin Simmons College, transferred to UT Austin where he received his Master’s in Physics. David enjoyed a career with IBM. After retiring, he remained an Executive on loan and taught at the Atlanta University Complex. He was a member of Northpoint Community Church and was honored to have traveled the Holy Lands. He sang with the Woodstock Warblers and loved hiking, as well as many other outdoor activities. He also enjoyed traveling and music. David was loved by many and will be immensely missed. He leaves behind his wife, Priscilla Craik, Daughter, Glenda Lee Barner, and four Brothers, Robert A., Gary C., and Philip Lee Craik along with many other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 11:00am in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home with a Reception Lunch immediately following. Interment with military honors will follow at 2:30 PM in Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 4-7pm at the funeral home.
