Emmily Dorsie Schild

Born on January 11, 1990, in Lawrenceville, GA, Emmily was the beloved daughter of Beverly Snipes French. She was a devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend whose warmth and strength touched everyone who knew her.

Emmily was the proud mother of five beautiful children: Kayden, Brooke, Wyatt, Emmett, and Asher. Her greatest joy was being their mom. On September 26, 2019, she married the love of her life, Austin Schild. Together, they shared a deep and loving bond — best friends and partners through life’s journey.

Emmily is survived by her husband, Austin Schild; her children, Kayden Womer, Brooke Womer, Wyatt Buckner, Emmett Schild, and Asher Schild; her parents, Eugene and Beverly French; her brothers, Cameron Snipes (Alexis) and Jacob French; her sister, Amanda Hulgan (Tyler); and her cherished niece and nephew, Madalynn and Eli Hulgan. She is also remembered fondly by a large extended family in the Atlanta area and many friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Major Robert Snipes Jr. and Dorthy Snipes.

A memorial service for Emmily will be held Monday, September 15, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Woodstock Funeral Home, Inc., 8855 Main Street, Woodstock, GA 30188.
