Eulene Taylor Howell

Eulene Taylor Howell entered into rest on Tuesday, January 6th, 2015. She was born on March 11th 1923,in Sulligent, Alabama to Howard Taylor and Ruhama Black Taylor. She was the 6th of 8 children. Brothers: Medford, Harvey, Clarence, Sisters: Quilla, Willie Mae, Mary Maudine and Virginia all of whom preceded her in death. Her husband Lebrun W. Howell also preceded her in death. Survivors include: Son and daughter- in-law Robert and Thamara Howell of Acworth, Ga, Son and daughter- in- law Tony and Alice Howell of Hildebran, North Carolina. Survivors also include 5 grandchildren: Lisa Nelson and husband Jason of Silver Creek, Ga, Kimberly McGraw and husband Lee of Villa Rica, Ga, Robbie Howell of Acworth, Ga, Jennifer Bryan of South Lake , Tx and Jason Howell and wife Jennifer of Cumming, Ga. Mrs.Howell has 15 great-grandchildren: Baleigh, Carter, Cory, Tyler, Ryan, Walker, Levi, Taylor, Mason, Addyson, Ansleigh, Ansley, David, Austin and Jackson. She also leaves many Nieces and Nephews as well as a host of friends.

Mrs Howell was a nurse retiring from the State of Georgia’s Georgia Mental Health Institute in Atlanta. She also worked for LaGrange City Hospital in LaGrange, Ga, Coweta General Hospital in Newnan, Ga, and Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Ga. Upon retirement she moved to Woodstock, Ga.

Mrs. Howell was a member of Woodstock Church of Christ where she participated in the Super Seniors program. Mrs Howell loved to travel, and enjoyed life to the fullest. She will be missed by all of us who love her.

A funeral service will be Friday, January 9, 2015 at 2:30pm in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 6:30-8:30pm at the funeral home.
