Frederick R. Pfeiffer

Frederick R. Pfeiffer passed away April 8, 2012 at his residence in Canton, Georgia, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Fred was born December 25, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York to Eugene Henry and Tosca Weber Pfeiffer. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 34 years, Patricia M. Pfeiffer of Canton, daughter and son-in-law Robyn and Steven Bigman, granddaughter, Nicole M. Bigman and grandson Zachary Frederick Bigman all of Acworth, Georgia, brother, Eugene W. Pfeiffer of Skiatook, Oklahoma, niece Brenda Hegney and nephews Eugene, Jr. Pfeiffer and Randy Pfeiffer, he is also survived by many wonderful friends. Fred proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from March 7, 1958 until December 19, 1960. He served 2 years in Darmstadt, Germany. In 1977 Fred graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and became Vice President of IGIC Corp. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at 1:30 pm at Georgia National Cemetery with military honors.
