Mr. George Daffin McManious, 79, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away March 17, 2015. He was born on November 18, 1935 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Heard McManious. George served honorably in the United States Navy. After retiring from the Navy, he worked for Norfolk Southern Railway. He loved fishing and spending time at his lake house in Milledgeville.Geoergia also loved spending time with his grandchildren and dog, Bubba. He leaves behind his children, Teresa McManious (Rick Hatt), Greg McManious (Dori), Jeff McManious (Paige), George McManious, Jr, Tamara Jones, William Dull, Jr, Angela Bauer (David), Jason Dull (Danielle) and 17 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and sister, Doris Lunsford. A funeral service will be Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 7:00pm in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment with military honors will be Friday, March 20, 2015 at 10:00am at Georgia National Cemetery.
