Hal Steven Bradford Sr.

Mr. Hal Steven Bradford, Sr, 82, of Marietta, GA passed away February 6, 2021. Hal was born on October 5, 1938 in Atlanta, GA to the late Harold and Helen Bradford. After graduating from Roosevelt High School, Hal attended Georgia State University, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Education. Hal enjoyed a career as a math teacher and coach and retired from the Cherokee County School System.

In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling with his family, finding new restaurants and volunteering at the Georgia Aquarium. He enjoyed meeting new people and made friends easily. Hal loved being a grandfather and stayed very active in the lives of his 6 grandchildren.

Hal leaves behind sons Hal Jr and wife Anna Galifianakis, Matthew and wife Laurie, and Wade along with grandchildren Savannah, Hal III, Sophia, Elizabeth, Hunter, and Zach; and sister, Linda Laird. He was preceded in death after 56 years of marriage by his wife, Brenda Bradford.

A memorial service for Hal and Brenda will be live-streamed at 10am on Tuesday, February 23 from Heritage Presbyterian Church in Acworth (www.heritagepres.com/worship.
