Mr. Harry L. Swink, 79, of Marietta, GA passed away peacefully on April 28, 2016. Harry was born on December 16, 1936 in Atlanta, GA to the late Harry L. and Cynthia J. Swink. After finishing high school, Harry honorably served in the United States Army. Harry retired from Lockheed as a plastics fabricator. He loved to listen to gospel music, travel and was an avid Nascar fan. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend. Harry will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his brother, Carl and Joe Swink. Harry is survived by his son, Lowery Cantrell, daughter, Pamela Clay (James), grandson, Nathan L. Teems, brother, Ralph Swink (Mary) and special friend, Barbara Emmett. A celebration of Harry’s life will be on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 11:00am in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home, 8855 Main St, Woodstock, GA 30188. Interment with military honors will follow at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
