

He was born on February 25, 1932 in Covington, Georgia to the late Dewey Hobson and Alma (Pace) Kenerly.
Hildreth served in the United States Navy from September, 1950 until July, 1954. After his service in the Navy he attended Reinhardt College, where he met the love of his life, Annie Maude. They were married in Chatsworth, Georgia on June 9, 1957 and together raised two sons, Scott and Greg.
Hildreth was a devout Christian and was extremely active in his church, Marietta Church of the Nazarene, until his move to Tennessee following the passing of his wife. Some of his most special times were spent at camp meetings at Indian Springs Holiness Campground. He was a devoted husband and father and deeply loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Greg Kenerly and his wife, Marlene, and daughter-in-law, Robin; grandchildren Corey, Hope, Kip, Lance, Kyle and Blake; great-grandchildren Parker, Graham, Payton and Ellis. He was preceded in death by his wife Annie Maude, son Scott Kenerly, brother Thomas Kenerly, and his parents.
The family will greet friends on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 10-11am at Marietta Church of the Nazarene, 4341 Dallas Hwy, Marietta, GA 30064. The funeral service will follow at 11:00am. Hildreth will be laid to rest following the service at Georgia Memorial Park, Marietta.
