Mrs. Jacqueline “Jackie” Freeman, 81, of Marietta, Georgia passed away February 6, 2015. She was born on November 18, 1933 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late William and Margaret Griffin. Jackie earned her bachelor’s degree in education from the University of North Carolina. She was a teacher before she got married. Jackie devoted herself to her husband and children. She was very kind and generous. Jackie enjoyed playing bridge and was a Daughter of the American Revolution. She was also a member of the Anona Methodist Church in Largo, Florida. Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Freeman. She is survived by her son, Robert Freeman and his wife, Holly, daughter, Margaret Veith and her husband, John and grandchildren, Sarah Veith, Hannah Veith, Josie Freeman and Philip Freeman. A memorial service will be on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 2:30pm at Winnwood Retirement Community, 98 Whitlock Avenue, Marietta, Georgia 30064, (770) 428-6200.
